Crisis on Infinite Eats (Arrowverse Crossover)
(The multiverse trembles. Across infinite Earths, kitchens churn out only bland, repetitive meals. The Monitor stands solemn.)
MONITOR: Flavor holds the multiverse together. Without it, reality unravels. We need... the one they call Alton Brown.
(A shimmer of light. Alton Brown appears, clutching a glowing whisk.)
ALTON BROWN: (deadpan) Finally. A crisis worth seasoning.
Act I — Heroes Assemble
(Green Arrow arrives, bow ready. Flash zips in with bags of takeout. Supergirl lands in full cape. Legends step off the Waverider, confused.)
GREEN ARROW: I’m a vigilante, not a sous-chef.
FLASH: (sheepish, holding takeout bags that dissolve into ash) Okay, maybe I should’ve grabbed spices instead.
SUPERGIRL: If flavor saves worlds, then point me to the pie crust.
ALTON: (commanding) Heroes, sharpen your knives. We’re not battling villains—we’re battling blandness.
Act II — Culinary Crossovers
(The Waverider jumps across timelines: medieval feasts without salt, futuristic ration cubes of beige. Alton directs like a general.)
ALTON: Every dish needs contrast. Sweet against sour, spice against cool, crunch against cream. Balance restores worlds.
(Montage: Arrow slicing onions faster than arrows, Flash kneading dough at supersonic speed, Supergirl baking radiant pies, White Canary sprinkling herbs mid-battle.)
WHITE CANARY: So this is our mission? Season reality?
ALTON: Exactly. Taste is the ultimate weapon.
Act III — The Final Recipe
(The Anti-Flavor Wave surges. Kitchens disintegrate. The heroes gather for a last stand.)
FLASH: We’re out of time!
ALTON: (stirring a pot) Then we braise—low and slow. Flavor bends time itself.
(Supergirl presents empanadas from Earth-38, Arrow brings cinnamon chili from Earth-19, Legends unveil a futuristic biryani. The dishes collide in a cosmic potluck, blasting the void with radiant taste.)
MONITOR: (awed) The multiverse… tastes alive again.
Epilogue
(The heroes share a victory meal. Alton brushes flour from his hands.)
ALTON: Blandness always returns. But as long as you season boldly, so will balance.
(He vanishes into another kitchen, already answering a new call.)
Our evaluation
The storyline seemed to crumble and not really exist... but not because of the Crisis theme. That may be from asking AI to generate a short story with such a large number of characters, and that may be plumbing the depths of AI's ability at this point. So as stories go, not really pleased with it.
